Hello everybody!

I am Oscar.  I am from Gijón, a town based in the North of Spain.

After 12 years working in the banking industry, I made the decision to change my career because I am an individual with a passion for education.

My qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Business, a master’s degree in Safety and Risk Prevention; and a master’s Teaching Degree; these qualifications have allowed me to get the Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, where I am developing my ambition to work as a teacher.

I have most recently completed courses related to education and I have also completed a Spanish Teacher Training course accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and thus I am qualified to teach Spanish from lower to proficiency levels.

I believe that being a native Spanish speaker and having learnt English as a second language enables me to best deliver effective techniques to the different students, with each role demanding specific methods; so, I will be overjoyed helping you to improve your Spanish regardless of the reason that you are learning this language.
